One Promise Gala: Passport to a Cure 2016
Saturday, April 30, 2016, 6pm
Renaissance Hotel Allentown
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Our mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. To accomplish this, JDRF has invested nearly $2 billion in research funding since our inception. We are an organization built on a grassroots model of people connecting in their local communities, collaborating regionally for efficiency and broader fundraising impact, and uniting institutions, policymakers, corporate, and industry partners to develop and deliver a pipeline of innovative therapies to people living with T1D.
The One Promise Gala is JDRF’s most high profile networking opportunity and most successful annual fundraiser in the LV and surrounding counties. This event includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, presentation of the Living & Giving award to Mr. Eric Schippers with Penn National Gaming, a spectacular Fund A Cure program, gourmet dinner and dancing to the fantastic sounds of She Said Sunday. Please join us as we step into ‘Ireland’ with our 'Passport to a Cure' for a fun filled night attended by over 150 members of our community, representing some of the region’s leading business, civic, and cultural leaders. We hope to raise a toast to our donors, sponsors, and volunteers who have helped to make JDRF one of the most effective charities in the nation.

Together, we will turn Type One into Type None.
Thank you for your support.
JDRF exists for the millions of children, adults, and families affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) every single day. Their determination to overcome this disease strengthens ours to end it by funding life-changing T1D research.
T1D is an autoimmune disease in which a person's pancreas loses the ability to produce insulin - a hormone essential to turning food into energy. It strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle. It requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
Your participation in JDRF events ensures that JDRF can continue funding critical T1D research. With your support, this research will continue to bring us closer to a world without T1D.
